How to get here
Spread the Word’s offices (including Room 9) are located in The Albany Centre, Douglas Way, London SE8 4AG.
We are two minutes’ walk from step-free Deptford Station (Rail) and eight minutes’ walk from New Cross Station (Rail and Overground). These stations have direct links to London Bridge, Canon Street and the Overground. Buses 177, 53, 225, 453 and N89 all stop at Deptford High Street which is 3 minute walk to the Albany Centre.
When arriving, please notify reception that you’re here and someone will come out to meet you.
Accessibility
The Albany’s Box Office, theatre, studios and café are all on the ground floor, as well as some of our meeting rooms. They also have fully accessible toilets on the ground floor and lift access to the first floor meeting rooms, offices and bar. Deptford Station and News Cross stations have step free access.
Limited disabled parking is available to the rear of the building, there are near-by, free parking spaces for Blue Badge holders in Frankham Street car park and there is also free on street parking on Watson Street and Octavius Street. Assistance animals can be brought into any of their spaces.

Our standard opening times are 10am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
