A fun filled storytelling session with music, colourful props and wonderful tales. For ages 8-11

Wendy Shearer is an author of Guyanese heritage, with two books for children published by Scholastic and Lonely Planet, as well as Caribbean Folktales: Stories from the Islands and the Windrush Generation for older readers. She is a renowned performance storyteller of African and Caribbean folklore, with performances on award winning Cbeebies show JoJo and GranGran, at the V&A, British Museum, Shakespeare’s Globe and the Barbican.
Wendy’s background is in TV Broadcasting, having produced programmes for Children’s BBC (CBBC), Nickledoden and PBS America.
