Her recent books include Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks, a joyful second-chance romance, and Medea by Rosie Hewlett, which was a Sunday Times bestseller. Recent acquisitions to Lara’s list include Tales of Starcross by Clare Reader Collins, a sweeping and captivating medieval fantasy, and To Cage a Wild Bird by Brooke Fast, a dark and gripping dystopian romantasy.

Rose Green acquires literary fiction in addition to publishing Terry Pratchett’s estate. In prior roles she published the International Booker-shortlisted Standing Heavy by GauZ’, tr. Frank Wynne, Waterstones Debut Prize-shortlisted Mongrel by Hanako Footman, The Coin by Yasmin Zaher, and Maurice Casey’s Hotel Lux, shortlisted for the Irish Book Awards, among others. Since joining Doubleday in 2024, her acquisitions include Korean psychological horror novel The Hole by Hye-young Pyun, tr. Sora Kim-Russell and Underspin by E Y Zhao, a stunning literary debut about a troubled table tennis prodigy.

Finn Cotton is an Editorial Director at Transworld and acquires crime fiction and thrillers. He publishes across the breadth of the genre, from the more commercial to the upmarket, from cosy crime to espionage, historical thrillers, police procedurals and domestic suspense. He has edited and published authors such as Stuart MacBride, Sarah Pearse, Andrea Mara, Robert Thorogood, and Denzil Meyrick.

Kirsty Dunseath began her career at Jonathan Cape and then The Women’s Press in the 1990s. She went on to join the Weidenfeld & Nicolson imprint of Orion in 2002, where she remained for 16 years, publishing bestselling authors including, most notably, Gillian Flynn, whose book Gone Girl has now sold 4.3 million copies. Her other publishing successes have included Carlos Ruiz Zafón’s The Shadow of the Wind, Laura Barnett’s The Versions of Us. She also published the Call the Midwife series by Jennifer Worth, that went on to inspire the hit TV series. In 2019 she moved to Transworld to head up the Doubleday imprint, publishing Kate Atkinson and Donal Ryan. Her acquisitions for Doubleday include Tall Bones, an incendiary debut that hit the Sunday Times bestseller list, We All Want Impossible Things by Catherine Newman, a Richard & Judy Pick and The Silence in Between, which was shortlisted for Waterstones Debut of the Year.
