Tim Waterstone's new blockbuster is published on 1 September. He joins our line up of leading genre fiction writers at Guilty Pleasures, our genre writing day on Saturday 20 November. Check out our interview with him on our events blog .
Join us on Friday 17 September for an evening of powerful, moving and truly exciting poetry. This Showcase event will be hosted by Bernardine Evaristo and Daljit Nagra. and is the culmination of an ambitious two year project devised and coordinated by Spread the Word, in collaboration with Bernardine Evaristo to support Black and Asian poets in their professional development. We're proud to bring them together in an event which demonstrates the range and diversity of voices in contemporary British poetry today. "Arts Council England has been pleased to support the growth of Spread the Word, enabling the organisation to work in boroughs in West and now East London. Through its pioneering writer and reader development work, Spread the Word is now ideally placed to make lasting changes at a community level across many areas of London, and can play an important part in seeing that the arts - and literature in particular - are at the heart of the Thames Gateway development."
